Boulevards, Towers, and Hotline came together last night at Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, NC–this made for one groovy night. Friday night turned out to be a great way to celebrate the success that has been brought to each of these artists this year.
Boulevards has become one of the top emerging artists in the North Carolina area. I saw Boulevards for the first time about 2 years ago at Hopscotch 2014 in Neptune’s. The room wasn’t empty, but it certainly wasn’t full. He went from that to playing to Memorial Auditorium for Hopscotch 2016. 2 months later, he’s filling one of Raleigh’s largest music venues, Lincoln Theatre.
Towers and Hotline accompanied Boulevards on this lineup. Towers’ persistent energy and Hotline’s voluptuous soul paired well in welcoming Boulevards to the stage.
