Moogfest 2018 Preview

Our favorite electronic festival, Moogfest, is just around the corner. Join us in Durham, NC on May 17th-20th for dancing, workshops, keynotes, panels, and a diverse lineup of artists! This year, Ethiopian American singer-songwriter Kelela and German electronic duo, Mouse on Mars, will be headlining. Equally as exciting, IBM’s Creative Director, Jennifer Sukis will present a Keynote entitled “The Origins and Future of AI + Mankind.” This keynote will focus on how AI will expand creative capacities not only for artists and creators, but also for the masses once it becomes accessible. Sukis will touch on what this expansion looks like and ultimately what it means for the seemingly limitless future. To see more festival happenings, check out the schedule. For convenience, download the sched app to peep the schedule and sign up for programming activities from your phone anytime.

Depending on what you want to get out of the festival, Moogfest has different ticketing options. If you’re on a budget, the GA tickets are a great option—granting you access to performances and programs (note that VIP and Engineer ticket holders have priority). For GA, you have the option for a weekend pass or individual day passes, if you can’t make it for the whole weekend. The next option available is the VIP option: this is similar to the GA option, except you will get priority access to performances and programming. Additionally, VIP have access to a lounge dedicated to free food and drink. Lastly, you have the Engineer pass as an option. This ticket will include priority access (before both GA and VIP) and a two day synth building workshop. You can purchase your tickets HERE!

Check out the full performance lineup below. Can’t wait to see you there!!
